Forza Horizon 5 Set to Launch

Forza Horizon 5, the critically acclaimed open-world racing game, is making its way to PlayStation 5 this spring, marking the latest Xbox Game Studios title to expand beyond Microsoft’s ecosystem. The PS5 edition will include the same content as its Xbox and PC counterparts, ensuring players on all platforms receive an identical experience.

According to an official blog post, the PlayStation 5 version will feature full crossplay support, allowing players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to compete and explore together. The port is being developed by Panic Button, a studio known for its work on games such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Forza Horizon 4, and Apex Legends.

In addition to the PS5 release, Playground Games has announced a new content update, Horizon Realms, which will be available across all platforms. This update will introduce a curated collection of popular Evolving Worlds from the community along with additional surprises yet to be revealed.

Originally launched in 2021 on Xbox and PC, Forza Horizon 5 received widespread praise for its expansive open world and engaging gameplay. The game was lauded as the best installment in the Forza Horizon series by critics, with some players highlighting its potential as a portable gaming experience.

With its impending PlayStation debut and fresh content updates on the horizon, Forza Horizon 5 continues to cement its status as one of the premier racing games of this generation.
